Within the next few weeks we will begin to open up the church sanctuary to meet again on Sunday mornings. We will announce in the near future when we think that will be possible. We realize that many of our people, for safety concerns, will still prefer to continue to meet via Zoom or YouTube until the coronavirus crisis is over. So we will also continue those meetings on Sunday mornings as well for as long as it takes.
We ask for your patience and understanding. We are all learning as we go along how to do this. This is a unique situation in the world.
Questions for Discussion: Here are some discussion questions you and your family can use:
Why do you think so many people try to "have" so many things or possessions in life? Is it wrong for a Christian to have nice things? Is it spiritually dangerous for a Christian to have nice things? What does having a Christlike character do for someone, that having possessions doesn't do? Which of these three loves – for God, for other people, and for his Word – is hardest for you to hold on to? Why is it important to share the "whole counsel of God"? What does it mean to teach the truth in gentleness? What are some difficult biblical topics to teach about? Why do some leaders try to make people dependent on themselves? Blessings, Pastor David
