Keywords: Mother's Day is always a special occasion. Whether you are a mother or not, we all have mothers, and this is a time to honor our mothers. I am preaching on Proverbs 31, which describes the woman of noble character. But let me say "thank you!" to all of our mothers. May God bless you today and through the rest of your life. In lieu of giving flowers to our mothers, we are making a special donation today in honor of our mothers to the Heartbeat Crisis Pregnancy Center. We live in a day where physical beauty is emphasized. Our senses are bombarded daily with advertisements that describe how we can physically be more beautiful or more handsome. But the Word of God says, "Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised" (Proverbs 31:30). Inner character, and not outward attractiveness, is what the Bible focuses on. All physical beauty fades, but inner beauty of character lasts, and becomes more attractive through the years. - Pastor David Packer
